We are planning to start painting our house (in stages) beginning with our front porch. The plan is to start tomorrow, if the rain will hold off. In order to pick out colors for the porch we needed an overall plan for the whole house. So I used photoshop to try out the colors I've been thinking about. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not sure about the green. I've never done anything like this before. I feel a lot of pressure to pick out the right colors because we are only going to paint this place once :) The left picture is our house now, and the right picture is the photoshop version.

Weekend Project

Hi Em~I am kind of partial to yellow with deep red shutters because that is what my parents house is! I'm not sure about the green either...
Hey - I happened upon your blog from my cousin Jill's blog - my house is actually green with red accents (doors and such). Perhaps it would help you to visualize it? There is a photo of the outside on my blog.
