I took my camera to get a few pictures for next year's picnic advertisement.
We usually spend the afternoon out at the park. One tradition is the Annual Pie Eating Contest. This year my dear friend Megan became the first girl contestant, as well as the first girl winner in Pie Eating Contest history. The winner is determined by applause, so I'm not sure she actually consumed the most pie, but she was by far the most popular.
Incidentally, Megan was also my wedding planner. She is multi-talented.
We took a boat out onto the lake with a couple of friends, Ruth (in the picture) and Lori. It was absolutely beautiful on the water. We could not have asked for better weather.
Ah. So much fun. I love church picnic day.

Thanks for stopping over...most of the time I just have pictures and updates about the boys or our family so my sister can keep updated, but sometimes I'll actually write too (what a concept considering it's a blog!). It looks like you had a great day for your church picnic. That's one big tent!
