Celebrating Family

Frank's grandfather is turning 90 this month! He's the handsome guy in the middle of the photo below. I've enjoyed knowing him for the short time I've been in the family. Last weekend we headed to Marion to celebrate his birthday. I really enjoy the opportunity to learn more about Frank's family. It was fun to hear the story of his grandfather's life, along with stories about Frank's parents growing up.

I took the opportunity to get pictures of Frank's sisters and their families. This is Bryan, Tessa, Audrey and David:

Here is Rachel and Hannah:

And here we are on the steps of the church where Frank's parents met. They noticed each other on the first Sunday that Frank's dad returned from Vietnam. He called her that same afternoon. Their first date was THAT NIGHT. The rest is history :)

Frank's dad just wrote and published his first book. It is called "Victory Stolen: The Perspectives of a Helicopter Pilot on the Tet Offensive and It's Aftermath". It's available on Amazon.
