It hardly seems possible that my mom turned 60 on October 18! To take her mind off of the number and celebrate the birthday, our whole family went to Starved Rock State Park for the day. The weather was beautiful, and the leaves were turning. We did a little exploring on the trails...
We ate lupper (lunch/supper) in the Starved Rock Lodge Restaurant...
And we finished the day with an outdoor birthday party.
The kids were good sports and kept smiling the whole day.
We had fun too. Happy birthday, Mom!
